We're glad to welcome back Angus MacInnes to Capital Sci Fi Con 2023!
In 1977 MacInnes appeared Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as the Y-wing pilot Gold Leader. Although the character is only identified by his call sign and the nickname "Dutch" in the film, he was later given a full name, Jon Vander. Archive footage of MacInnes was used in Rogue One, again showing him as Gold Leader. MacInnes also recorded additional lines for the film, including the line "Keep it tight and watch out for those towers." We've been lucky to have had Angus along to Capital Sci Fi Con numerous times and so glad he's giving up his time to come again in February! |
A huge welcome back to James Mackenzie who's returning for Capital Sci Fi Con 2023!
James is a great supporter of CHAS, and even trekked the Sahara to raise lots of money for the families CHAS supports. You might remember that James was also kind enough to host the 2020 BIG Geeky Quiz (remember Zoom quizzes?!) which went down an absolute storm and raised over £12,000 for CHAS. James is known for being the host of Raven on CBBC, playing Gary Trenton on River City as well as James on Molly and Mack. We're delighted to welcome James back, and he'll also be hosting a panel talk each day - thank you James! |
